Tellink offers a SIM based service which aims primarily at offering important savings on roaming charges.
To create savings on outgoing calls we use a callback technology which is natively embedded on the SIM card and transparent to the user.
Basically what we do is replace the outgoing call by an incoming call and a call to the destination. The arbitrage between outgoing and incoming calls enables us to offer substantial savings to our customers.
The Tellink Traveller SIM is an international mobile service based in Belgium and the SIM mobile number has a +32 prefix. You will find your new phone number printed on the SIM card.
This should be no problem. When ordering, you have to select the required SIM format. Not sure if our sim card is compatible with your phone? Check it here.
Yes, by default it is 1111.
If you enter an incorrect PIN code 3 times your SIM card will be blocked and you will be unable to make or receive calls/texts. To get back up and running you will need to enter the PUK code.
Your PIN and PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) numbers are both printed on the SIM card. Please make a note of these somewhere safe.
Your phone may be locked if for example you purchased it on contract or through some other offer from your local provider. You can check if your phone is unlocked by inserting another SIM from a different network provider into your phone. If your phone is locked you will see one of the following messages when you put the SIM into your phone: ‘Insert SIM’, ‘Phone restricted’, ‘SIM not valid’, ‘SIM not accepted’ or ‘Wrong SIM’
For Japan and South Korea your mobile phone should be 3G compatible. For the rest of the world – if your phone functions at home it will function abroad (it should be compatible with GSM 800/850/900/1800/1900).
Some handsets might require you to take the following steps:
- Find the callback menu in your phone menu and select ‘Configuration”

The Tellink Traveller SIM service operates with roaming agreements of the Orange Group in over 200 countries around the world including 620 networks.
This means that in many countries you can actually make and receive calls on more than one network. The Tellink Traveller SIM will normally automatically select the strongest signal but it may be possible to manually select another network if required.
The available network list will be displayed in your handset if you select 'manually search networks' (or something similar) via your handset menu. Whichever of the available networks you select, the call rates will always be the same.
NO, your Tellink Traveller SIM and Credit remain active anytime.
YES, your Data Bundle is valid for 30 days from activation. Check out our Data Bundles Europe page for more information.
Check if your contact numbers are saved on your phone by inserting your new SIM. If you can see your contacts, your phone is ready for use.
The easiest way to do this is to go to the address book on your phone and find the function that allows you to copy all numbers from your SIM onto your phone. Do this. Now, switch SIMs and do the reverse. Copy all your numbers from your phone address book onto the new SIM. Each phone is different so you should check the manual that came with your mobile phone or go to the website of your handset manufacturer to find out more details.
